- Tour Bus
A great way to see lots of the sights of the centre of Edinburgh is to take one of the open-top, double-decker tour buses. On a fine day you can sit on the top and if it rains, you can move inside. Clearly, when this picture was taken, the weather is fine as nobody is sitting inside! You can hop off and on the bus at any of the stops along the way and the service is frequent in the main tourist season.
Stagecoach, the Perth-based bus company, has taken some of this type of double-decker bus to New York so that tourists can enjoy the experience of such transport in a country where most of the buses have only one deck.
