- Buchanan Galleries Shopping Centre
With so many people living within easy reach, the centre of Glasgow has become the prime shopping area in Scotland. In addion to the long-established shopping streets, that position has been reinforced by the construction of two major, modern, city-centre shopping centres. The Buchanan Galleries, at the junction of Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street is the latest of these.
Positioned next to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, most of the main retail outlets can be found in the Buchanan Galleries. The restaurant in the John Lewis department store has a great view all the way down Buchanan Street.
