Did You Know?
- Link Between Scotland and Australia

A Cairn erected in Sydney Park, Australia, has a stone from every parish in Scotland. It was created as a permanent memorial to the Scots pioneers who contributed so much to the making of the country.

The Cairn is located by a sports field in the Sydney suburb of Mosman which has strong Scottish connections and overlooks Sydney Harbour so it has a premier spot!!

The Cairn has presided over quite a few Highland Games held on the first Saturday of December usually preceded by a celebration of St Andrews Day the night before.
