What Enthusiastic Organisers Say About Moira Marion White, Chieftain, Singapore St. Andrew's Society: Moira is a very professional musician, whose fame is continually growing worldwide. On her working visit to Singapore and Jakarta in May 2005, she wowed her audiences with her professional performances of Scottish songs, many of which she had composed herself. Not only is she a talented singer and entertainer, she has also proved herself as a very successful lyricist and many of the words she has penned reveal a real love for and attachment to Scotland. Little wonder that she struck at the heart chords of all us Scots working and living overseas! Thank you, Moira, for bringing a lovely taste of Scotland to the Far East. Tom Kelsey, Auchterarder Rotary Club, Scotland: Moira Kerr’s spot was the highlight of our Gleneagles Charity Dinner – so professional, well judged and fun. We would strongly recommend her blend of song and laughter to enhance any event. Sarasota Heritage Society, Sarasota, Florida, USA: Moira Kerr appeared at our Sarasota Highland Games. At the time, we had a dinner dance, games and Ceilidh. Moira was the featured artist at all of these events and the sole performer for the dinner dance. She was enjoyed by all, with many members of our club continuing to follow her career. She really made the games and was a pleasure to work with. Carluke Golf Club Ladies Section: On behalf of everyone at Carluke Golf Club Ladies Section I would like to say how much we enjoyed your performance at the Ladies Dinner. Your performance and personality ensured a very successful evening enjoyed by all in attendance and hope that we may be able to repeat the experience. Vancouver's Scottish Centre: Scotland's songwriter and singer Moira Kerr made a return appearance to Canada's West appearing at Vancouver's Scottish Centre to a most welcoming audience indeed. As part of Moira's Canadian tour she travelled over to Vancouver Island, again appearing to a delighted audience. |
