The Glasgow Show, Victoria Park

There were quite a number of examples of the Japanese art of "bonsai" at the Glasgow Show. As a result of constant trimming and restriction of the roots and pruning of shoots, miniature trees are created. This example was of an acer (maple) tree. It takes many years to create a specimen such as this one.
